Overview: We are seeking a Mainframe Business Specialist to provide subject-matter expertise and drive customer relationships for a global leader in technology. In this role, you'll act as a key advisor, understanding customer needs and escalating requests to R&D. You will also identify sales opportunities and contribute to solution proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor, delivering value through in-depth product knowledge.
- Build relationships with customers to understand their IT challenges and align solutions.
- Support sales teams to achieve financial targets and develop accurate forecasts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and enhance product offerings.
- Manage customer portfolios, position product offerings, and contribute to business planning.
Requirements:
- Strong expertise in Mainframe solutions.
- 12+ years of relevant experience in a technical or customer-facing role.
- Proven ability to manage relationships and deliver complex technical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
Location: Flexible, with up to 25% travel.
