MRL Consulting Group is partnering with a global leader in architectural lighting to recruit a Specification Sales Manager in the UK. This is a strategic role for a driven sales professional with a strong track record in specification sales and a passion for design-led solutions.
About the Role
You will play a central role in consolidating existing client relationships and developing new business across your territory. From identifying key accounts to managing full project lifecycles, this is a position for someone who thrives on ownership and impact. You’ll be responsible for growing sustainable project pipelines and representing a highly respected brand in the architectural lighting space.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and win new key accounts with long-term project portfolios

Promote and represent a premium product portfolio to architects, specifiers and end clients

Manage the full sales cycle from project identification through to delivery and post-sales support

Build client confidence and maintain high levels of customer service

Raise brand awareness within the architectural and design community

Consistently meet or exceed agreed sales targets
Candidate Profile

Strong experience in specification sales, ideally within architectural lighting or a closely related industry

Proven ability to build lasting client relationships

Highly credible and service-oriented approach

Motivated, proactive and results-driven with a strong work ethic

Effective negotiator with excellent time management skills

Stable career history with a consultative sales style

Computer literate and confident with digital communication tools

Full UK driving licence required
