We are currently partnering with a global organisation undergoing significant digital and operational transformation to recruit an experienced SAP Commissions (Callidus) Support Lead.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a specialist with strong SAP Commissions expertise to take ownership of a business-critical incentive compensation platform, ensuring operational stability, service excellence, and continuous improvement across production support activities.
The successful candidate will act as the primary point of accountability for application support, working closely with business stakeholders across Sales Operations, Finance, and IT, while managing incident resolution, change delivery, and system performance.

The Role
As SAP Commissions Support Lead, you will oversee the day-to-day operation and stability of the platform, ensuring accurate commission processing and effective service management.
You will lead application support activities, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure system reliability through proactive monitoring, governance, and operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Service Operations
- Lead daily production support activities and coordinate support queues (e.g., ServiceNow or Jira).
- Ensure incidents and requests are managed within agreed SLAs and service targets.
- Manage end-to-end incident resolution including triage, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Identify recurring issues and drive long-term solutions.
- Plan and execute system configuration changes, patches, and releases.
- Coordinate regression testing, UAT activities, and change approvals.
- Maintain SAP Commissions configuration including plans, rules, rate tables, calendars, and hierarchy structures.
- Ensure version control and documentation are maintained.
- Oversee data loading processes (EIM), validation checks, and reconciliation activities.
- Monitor system integrations with CRM, ERP, and integration platforms.
- Manage commission calculations and validate outputs in collaboration with Sales Operations and Finance.
- Support dispute resolution, adjustments, and payroll integration processes.
- Monitor system performance and investigate long-running processes or data issues.
- Recommend optimisation opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Produce regular service reports covering SLA performance, incidents, risks, and improvement initiatives.
- Maintain operational documentation including runbooks and SOPs.
- Ensure appropriate access controls and segregation of duties are maintained.
- Support internal and external audit requirements.
- Act as a key liaison between business teams, IT teams, and external support partners.
- Manage escalations, priorities, and stakeholder communication.
- Support and mentor analysts within the support function.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous capability development.
- Identify opportunities for automation, improved monitoring, and process optimisation.
Required Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Commissions (formerly CallidusCloud) configuration including crediting rules, compensation plans, rate tables, calendars, positions, and payee structures.
- Proven experience providing L2/L3 production support within enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of incident, problem, and change management processes aligned with ITIL frameworks.
- Experience managing data operations including EIM templates, reconciliation, and monitoring scheduled jobs or pipelines.
- Experience integrating SAP Commissions with CRM, ERP, or integration platforms.
- Ability to troubleshoot interface files, APIs, and integration issues.
- Strong analytical skills with SQL, Excel, or similar tools for data validation and reconciliation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Desirable Experience
- Exposure to additional SAP Sales Performance Management components such as Territories & Quotas or CPQ.
- Experience working across multiple environments and managing performance optimisation initiatives.
- Knowledge of reporting or analytics within SAP Commissions or data warehouse environments.
- Automation or scripting experience to improve operational efficiency.
- Certifications such as ITIL, PRINCE2, or PMP.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks and audit controls within financial or compensation processes.
