Compliance Manager – Data Centre Industry

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading data centre operator, seeking a skilled Compliance Manager to lead and manage regulatory, security, and certification compliance across their operations.

Based in London, this role will be central to ensuring the business adheres to relevant frameworks—both in the UK and internationally—as it continues to expand into new markets and build new facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and manage all compliance frameworks, including ISO standards (e.g. ISO 27001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001) and information security requirements

• Ensure business operations and new data centre developments meet all local and regional regulatory and legal requirements

• Act as the internal point of contact for audits, certifications, and compliance-related documentation

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure policies and procedures are consistently applied and updated

• Stay ahead of evolving legislation and best practices across the UK, EMEA, and other operating regions

• Lead the implementation of new compliance measures during expansion projects

• Work closely with stakeholders to embed a strong compliance culture

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a compliance or governance role, ideally within critical infrastructure, data centre, or tech environments

• In-depth knowledge of ISO standards and infosec frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001)

• Experience managing regulatory compliance in multiple jurisdictions is highly desirable

• Excellent understanding of risk management and legal/regulatory trends in technology and infrastructure

• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and audit preparation skills

• Ability to work independently and strategically in a growing organisation
