Director of Yield & Integration
Senior Semiconductor Manufacturing Leadership Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-impact leadership role at the heart of an advanced semiconductor manufacturing operation.
We are seeking an experienced Director of Yield & Integration to take ownership of wafer yield, device performance, process integration, defect reduction, and process transfer for a complex, high-volume manufacturing site.
This is a role for a proven technical leader who wants to make a visible difference. You will be central to improving manufacturing performance, enabling successful technology transfer, raising quality standards, and building long-term technical capability across the site.
If you are motivated by solving difficult problems, leading expert teams, and driving measurable fab performance in a fast-paced 24x7 environment, this is the kind of opportunity that can define the next stage of your career.
Why this role is exciting
This is far more than a functional leadership post. It is a role with broad influence, high visibility, and direct impact on output, cost, quality, and manufacturing competitiveness.
You will:
- Own end-to-end site yield performance and device health
- Lead process integration across multiple technologies in a live production environment
- Drive disciplined, high-fidelity process transfer from other sites
- Shape and strengthen a true First Time Right culture
- Lead teams spanning Yield, Integration, Device, and Defect Reduction
- Act as a key technical voice within the site leadership team
- Influence both immediate manufacturing results and long-term site capability
This is an opportunity to join a business where technical leadership matters and where your decisions will have a real operational and strategic impact.
The role
You will be accountable for site wafer yield, electrical and parametric performance, and the overall integration health of the manufacturing line. You will define targets, lead technical governance, and act as a senior decision-maker during major excursions and time-critical manufacturing events.
A major part of the role will be owning the framework for process transfer and copy discipline. You will establish and enforce robust transfer practices that ensure technologies and best practices are implemented consistently, with clarity, control, and minimal variation.
You will also lead defect reduction strategy, oversee advanced failure analysis and offline electrical bench testing capability, and ensure that yield and integration improvements are sustainable, scalable, and aligned to quality and manufacturability goals.
Alongside the technical remit, you will build and develop a strong leadership team, strengthen succession and bench capability, and create a culture of accountability, ownership, and data-driven decision-making.
What we are looking for
We are interested in senior semiconductor manufacturing leaders who bring strong technical depth, operational judgement, and the ability to lead through complexity.
You will likely offer:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred
- Significant semiconductor manufacturing experience with direct ownership of yield, integration, and/or device performance
- Leadership experience managing managers and/or senior technical experts
- A strong track record of improving yield and quality in a production fab environment
- Deep understanding of device physics, process integration, and structured problem-solving
- Confidence making high-quality technical decisions under operational pressure
- The credibility and leadership style to influence across engineering, operations, and site leadership teams
Why this could be the right move
For the right person, this is a genuine chance to take on a career-defining leadership position.
You will have the platform to:
- Drive meaningful yield and cost improvement
- Lead critical process and technology transfers
- Raise technical and operational standards
- Build and shape a high-performing organization
- Leave a lasting mark on site performance and future capability
If you are looking for a role where your technical leadership will be visible, valued, and highly influential, this is an opportunity worth exploring.
