This is a senior, strategic role focused on developing the healthcare market through opportunity identification, relationship building and the delivery of effective business development and sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a healthcare sector specialist, supporting the wider sales team in accessing and converting healthcare opportunities.

  • Build and develop new customer networks across contractors, end users, specifiers and key stakeholders.

  • Develop and implement a detailed national sales plan aligned with regional sales strategies.

  • Identify growth opportunities within healthcare estates management and new-build construction markets.

  • Ensure the business is approved on appropriate frameworks to access healthcare projects.

  • Identify and represent the business at relevant healthcare conferences and exhibitions.

  • Influence product strategy and contribute to targeted marketing campaigns.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong understanding of the lighting, construction or building services sector, with demonstrable experience within healthcare lighting.

  • Proven track record of building profitable, long-term business partnerships and delivering commercial results.

  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.

  • Confident relationship builder who collaborates effectively with internal stakeholders.

  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Positive, solutions-focused mindset with an interest in technology and innovation.

  • Curious and proactive approach to continuous improvement and professional development.

  • High level of IT literacy, including MS Office; experience with SAP and Salesforce is advantageous but not essential.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven sales leader to take ownership of a national healthcare portfolio within a well-established and forward-thinking organisation.
