Role Overview

As an Internal Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth by managing inbound enquiries, nurturing prospective customers, and converting opportunities into long-term client relationships. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help expand the customer base while delivering an outstanding experience throughout the sales process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and qualify inbound leads generated through marketing initiatives, website enquiries, and referrals.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations via phone, video conferencing, and email.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, accurately recording activities and interactions within the CRM system.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the company's products and services and effectively communicate their value to prospective customers.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to support lead generation activities and follow-up processes.
  • Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and agreements in accordance with company policies.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates to management.
  • Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of customer interactions and opportunities.
  • Support the transition of new customers into onboarding and implementation processes.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to strengthen sales effectiveness.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in internal sales, business development, account management, or a similar customer-facing commercial role.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent systems.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent professional experience is advantageous.
  • Experience selling software, technology solutions, subscription-based services, or business solutions is beneficial.
