Sales Manager

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global technology organisation for an experienced Sales Manager to drive revenue growth, develop customer relationships and identify new business opportunities within a technology-focused market.

This is a commercially driven role suited to a sales professional with a strong technical understanding and a proven track record of delivering results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing and emerging markets.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners and stakeholders.

  • Manage the full sales cycle, from initial engagement and opportunity development through to negotiation and close.

  • Develop and maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular forecasts and reporting.

  • Understand customer requirements and work with technical teams to develop appropriate solutions.

  • Lead customer presentations, commercial negotiations and contract discussions.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.

  • Represent the organisation at customer meetings, exhibitions, conferences and industry events.

  • Work collaboratively with Application Engineering, Product, R&D and other internal teams to support customer success.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in Sales Management, Business Development or a similar commercial role within a technology-driven industry.

  • Strong track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business.

  • Experience managing strategic customer relationships and complex sales cycles.

  • Strong commercial, negotiation and business development skills.

  • Technical understanding with the ability to communicate effectively with engineering and technical stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.

  • Strong organisational and analytical skills, with experience managing sales pipelines and forecasts.

  • Self-motivated, commercially focused and able to work independently.

  • Fluent English; additional European languages would be advantageous.

  • Willingness to travel as required.
