Senior Manager
This position holds complete ownership for delivering telecom network and data center infrastructure build-out programs from start to finish. The successful candidate will drive strategy, execution, financial results, client satisfaction, and operational effectiveness across a portfolio of large, multi-region initiatives.
The role directs cross-disciplinary teams - spanning program management, engineering, procurement, logistics, construction, and field operations - to bring complex infrastructure solutions to life, from early-stage planning through deployment, fine-tuning, and project closeout.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will drive strategy, execution, financial results, client satisfaction, and operational effectiveness across a portfolio of large, multi-region initiatives.The role directs cross-disciplinary teams - spanning program management, engineering, procurement, logistics, construction, and field operations - to bring complex infrastructure solutions to life, from early-stage planning through deployment, fine-tuning, and project closeout.
Core Responsibilities (What This Role Owns)
- Full lifecycle delivery accountability for telecom and data center rollout programs
- P&L management: revenue, margin, cost discipline, forecast accuracy
- Client retention and success for strategic accounts (network operators, hyperscale providers, enterprise clients)
- Scaling operations: process design, tooling, governance frameworks, resourcing models
- Developing leadership capability across program management and on-the-ground execution teams
Key Duties
1. Rollout Strategy & Delivery- Shape and carry out deployment strategy spanning telecom (fiber, wireless, DAS, macro sites) and data center work (new builds, expansions, migrations)
- Direct large, multi-location programs involving significant complexity and interdependencies across functions
- Maintain consistent delivery frameworks, playbooks, and proven practices
- Push ongoing gains in delivery speed, cost efficiency, and quality outcomes
- Hold full accountability for the financial results of the Deployment Services portfolio
- Manage forecasting, margin tracking, cost governance, and working capital
- Improve profitability via vendor negotiation, productivity gains, and scope discipline
- Oversee contracts, change orders, and commercial deal-making
- Act as the executive point of contact for key client relationships
- Lead quarterly business reviews, executive briefings, and senior-level escalation resolution
- Keep delivery outcomes aligned to client SLAs, KPIs, and broader business goals
- Work alongside Sales on growth, contract renewals, and account expansion
- Build and maintain governance structures for delivery (metrics, dashboards, review cadence)
- Roll out scalable systems and tools (ERP, project management platforms, field service software)
- Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality requirements
- Champion Lean and continuous improvement initiatives across delivery operations

- Logistics (forward and reverse)
- Construction & Field Services
- Manage the vendor network, including subcontractors, OEMs, and service partners
- Match capacity planning to demand forecasts
- Build and grow high-performing teams (program managers, project leads, field supervisors)
- Set up career progression paths and performance frameworks
- Foster a culture centered on accountability, safety, and delivery excellence
- Coach emerging leaders and build organizational depth
Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related discipline preferred
- MBA or other advanced degree a plus
- Preferred certifications: PMP or PgMP, Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), Agile or SAFe (for hybrid delivery settings)
- 10–15+ years' experience in telecom, data center, or infrastructure deployment
- Track record leading large, multi-site deployment programs
- Demonstrated ownership of P&L and operational leadership
- Experience partnering with major carriers, hyperscale operators, or enterprise network clients
- Fiber rollout, small cell, DAS, macro network deployment
- Full network lifecycle experience (deployment through maintenance and decommissioning)
- Familiarity with major network equipment OEM ecosystems
- Hyperscale and colocation deployment experience
- Power, cooling, structured cabling, and server infrastructure knowledge
- Experience with data center migration, expansion, and optimization projects
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and clients
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Able to interpret operational data and communicate findings clearly
- Able to follow and issue both written and verbal direction
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and broader Microsoft Office proficiency required
- Strong communication and client-facing presentation skills
- Solid understanding of telecom infrastructure, equipment, and professional services preferred
Physical Requirements
- Able to sit for extended periods at a desk or workstation
- Able to view a computer screen for extended periods; close vision required for screen-based work
- Fine motor skills for keyboard/mouse use and handling small components
Work Environment
- Hybrid, executive-level role with substantial field involvement
- Travel typically 30–50%, depending on portfolio scope
- National or multi-region scope, with occasional global coordination
