People who have commercial experience who want to get into recruitment. People who have that fire in their belly and want to achieve great results. The MRL Academy is ideal for graduates and people who have sales experience; for example, working in estate agencies, customer service and telesales




How the Academy Works

  • What are the different roles?
  • During your first week at the MRL Academy, you will start to learn our recruitment methodologies; where our focus is, where we operate, our approach and what our process looks like. We will teach you how to become a headhunter, how to find candidates and, most importantly, how to build relationships with people.

  • By now, you would have started to learn about the different markets we operate in and will have started to become an expert in your chosen sector. MRL is all about team work;  you will be working closely with a 360 Consultant and will receive daily support from the Head of Academy. Topics you will become familiar with include :-

    ·       Identifying candidates

    ·       Presentation skills

    ·       Interviewing techniques

    ·       Developing and strengthening client relationships

  • By now, you will have a clearer understanding of how we operate as a business, the stages involved in the candidate journey and how we assist in this.

  • The training doesn’t stop here. You will receive constant on-the-job support and coaching from our Head of Academy. Throughout the process, you will be reviewed on regular intervals to ensure that the training meets your individual needs.

  • There are two types of roles. Here at MRL, we play to everybody’s strengths and find a role which is suited to your personality and career aspirations. There is an equally attractive career path for both an Account Manager and 360 Consultant.


    Account Manager
    The role of an Account Manager is to maintain and develop existing accounts. You will be sourcing world-class candidates for live positions and managing the recruitment process from initial conversation to successful placements. On the back of these successes, you will be strengthening relationships with the client and extending MRLs reach within them.

    360 Consultant
    The role of 360 Consultant is similar to that of Account Managers, but they will also be tasked with new business development to clients that haven't heard of MRL.
