The role combines business development, channel management, key account management and consultative sales, with a strong emphasis on developing new opportunities and expanding existing relationships.

The Role

You will take ownership of revenue growth across an assigned partner network while actively developing new business opportunities within the Danish market.

A major part of the role will involve working with distributors, integrators, consultants, specifiers, building owners and end users, helping to influence projects at an early stage and ensuring the right solutions are considered throughout the sales process.

You will act as a trusted commercial and technical adviser to partners and customers, helping them identify opportunities, develop projects and successfully convert higher-value business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and develop relationships with assigned channel partners, with responsibility for commercial growth and revenue performance.

  • Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities across the Danish market.

  • Work collaboratively with partners to develop and negotiate project opportunities.

  • Build strong relationships with consultants, specifiers, building owners, developers and end users to influence project requirements and specifications.

  • Support partners with sales strategies, business development activity and project opportunities.

  • Develop joint business and activity plans with key partners, including agreed objectives, financial targets and milestones.

  • Help partners strengthen their technical and commercial understanding of the solutions they represent.

  • Deliver or support product and solution training for partner sales teams.

  • Coordinate internal technical, product, marketing, logistics and customer-support resources where required.

  • Maintain a structured sales pipeline and provide accurate revenue and forecasting information.

  • Monitor market activity and competitor developments, identifying opportunities to strengthen market positioning.

  • Provide feedback from customers and partners to support future product and solution development.

  • Support marketing activity, customer events and industry engagement across the territory.

  • Share best practice around project-led and specification-based sales.

  • Develop a strong local profile within the building technology community and act as a knowledgeable advocate for modern building solutions.

What We're Looking For

You are likely to have a successful track record in B2B sales, business development or channel management, ideally within a technical or project-led environment.

You should be comfortable managing both existing commercial relationships and proactively identifying new opportunities.

Experience in the following areas would be particularly valuable:

  • Channel sales, partner management or indirect sales models.

  • Business development and new customer acquisition.

  • Specification-led or project-based sales.

  • Managing the sales process from early project/specification stages through to delivery.

  • Building relationships with consultants, specifiers and other project stakeholders.

  • Commercial negotiation and account development.

  • Working across different customer types, organisations and business cultures.

  • Providing basic technical or product training to customers or partners.

  • Using CRM systems to manage opportunities, pipeline and forecasting.

  • Understanding of the lighting, lighting controls, building automation, smart buildings or wider building technology sector would be advantageous.

You should also bring:

  • A proactive, commercially minded approach to sales.

  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.

  • The ability to understand technical solutions and translate them into clear customer benefits.

  • A structured and methodical approach to managing opportunities and sales activity.

  • Confidence working independently from a home-based environment.

  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.

  • A proven record of achieving sales or business development results.

  • The flexibility to travel regularly within Denmark.
