X-Ray / XRF Inspection Technician

A global technology and supply chain solutions business within the electronics industry is looking to hire an X-Ray / XRF Inspection Technician to join its growing quality and inspection team in Singapore.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates with prior inspection or electronics experience, but it is also well suited to someone at the beginning of their career who is technically minded, hands-on, and eager to learn. Full training can be provided for individuals with the right attitude and willingness to develop.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate X-ray inspection equipment to inspect, compare, and verify the internal structure of electronic components
• Perform XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analysis for material composition and coating verification
• Interpret inspection findings and escalate anomalies where required
• Conduct dimensional inspections using digital measuring equipment
• Verify critical measurements against technical specifications
• Record and maintain inspection and measurement data accurately within internal systems
• Compile test data and prepare inspection reports, highlighting any deviations from specification
• Ensure compliance with ISO, JEDEC, ESD, and internal QA/QC standards
• Support additional quality and inspection activities as required

Requirements

• Minimum ITE qualification or equivalent, ideally within Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline
• Previous experience within electronics, semiconductor, manufacturing, warehouse, laboratory, or inspection environments would be beneficial but is not essential
• Candidates with no prior experience but a strong willingness to learn and develop new technical skills are encouraged to apply
• Exposure to X-ray, XRF, or inspection equipment would be advantageous but full training can be provided
• Basic understanding of ESD handling and electronic component packaging is beneficial
• Comfortable working within a fast-paced operational or warehouse environment
• Good attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to follow technical processes accurately
