We are recruiting on behalf of a leading international smart lighting technology company for a Sales Manager to drive growth across France and French-speaking Switzerland. Based in Paris, this role will focus on developing the specification market, expanding partner networks, and increasing brand presence across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with consultants, architects, lighting designers, contractors, and end users.
- Grow and support partner networks to increase regional sales performance.
- Drive specification opportunities from concept through to project delivery.
- Promote smart lighting and energy-efficient building solutions across multiple sectors.
- Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and training sessions in French.
- Manage sales pipelines, forecasts, and account plans using CRM tools.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support bids, projects, and regional strategy.
- Represent the business at trade fairs, events, and industry meetings.
Skills & Experience
- Proven sales experience within lighting controls, lighting, building automation, or smart-building technologies.
- Strong commercial and technical understanding of lighting-control systems.
- Experience managing partners, channels, or specification sales activity.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Native-level French and fluent English.
- CRM experience, ideally Salesforce.
- Willingness to travel across France and Switzerland.
Desirable Experience
- Knowledge of DALI-2, wireless controls, IoT, or hybrid building systems.
- Existing network within the French lighting or building automation market.
