Job Title: Strategic Account Manager
Department: Sales
Reports To: Regional Sales Manager
Position Overview:
The Strategic Account Manager works with a portfolio of key customer accounts to facilitate sustainable, long-term business in order to deliver exceptional experiences and outcomes.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Cultivate and maintain strategic customer relationships
- Sell to a portfolio of key accounts
- Assist in the implementation of global sales and purchasing strategies
Essential Functions:
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of key customers
- Manage own training (sales, sourcing, throughput)
- Ensure accurate ERP system data entry
- Meet sales and gross profit goals
- Represent company values
- Provide solutions to customer needs
- Maintain detailed sales records
- Create and present reports
Education & Experience:
Required:
- High school diploma
- 2+ years of sales experience
Preferred:
- 4-year degree
- ERP system experience
Traits:

Work Environment:
Office-based with occasional travel.
