QA Developer / System Test Engineer
Contract: Initial 7 months +
Location: Montreal, Canada
We’re looking for an experienced System Test Engineer to support testing and automation across a complex platform environment.
What you’ll do:
- Plan and run system-level tests to validate requirements
- Build and maintain automated test scripts (BDD, Cucumber)
- Work closely with dev, product, and architecture teams
- Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Analyze results, troubleshoot issues, and log defects
Requirements:
- 5+ years in QA / system testing
- Strong experience with BDD (Cucumber, Gherkin)
- Solid coding skills (JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python)
- Experience with Playwright, Selenium, and API testing (Postman)
- Familiar with CI/CD, Agile, and test management tools (e.g. Jira, Xray)
Nice to have:
- Cloud and containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with high-availability systems or mobile/device provisioning
Soft skills:
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and a good communicator
- Comfortable working in fast-paced Agile teams
